How we verify manufacturers.
Here is what a listing goes through to earn the Verified badge, and what the badge does and doesn't promise.
Step 01
Trade identifiers, auto-checked
Manufacturers give us their IEC (Import-Export Code) and GSTIN (GST registration). We check the IEC format and the GSTIN's built-in checksum, and whether the two share the same PAN. These are consistency checks, not a government lookup. Any failure is flagged to the reviewer. We never publish these identifiers in full.
Step 02
Human review
A person reviews the company's details and website. Only a reviewer can award the Verified badge, and it can't be bought. Newly registered companies stay unpublished until they have been reviewed.
Step 03
A trust score you can read
Each verified listing shows a score built from the checks above and from profile completeness: website, HS focus, export markets, company details, certifications and a published product catalog.
What the badge is not
Verified means the details a company gave us are consistent and passed our review. It is not a guarantee of product quality, financial standing or contract performance. For production orders, use samples, a pre-shipment inspection and standard trade terms.
